Ticket Sale Begins Sunday, March 11 at St. Patrick’s Parade Party

Only 100 tickets will be sold—so for each ticket you have a 1 in 100 chance of winning.  The more you buy, the higher your odds of winning.

One winner will be chosen at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3.  The winning ticket chosen wins Alligator in Marsh Grass, a hand-colored Walter Anderson print.  Tickets will be available until April 1, 2018 on the Charitable Drawing page at  All proceeds go to the St. Martin's Start the Adventure In Reading (STAIR) program for second graders.  Tickets to win the artwork are not tax deductible. You must be at least 18 years old to enter.

From the artwork donor:  I framed this around 1972, meeting conservation/museum standards.  I know it is signed under the matting, The hand coloring was done by his niece and reflects that also.  I would not recommend opening up the framing to see exactly what the info is, just because it is so well sealed against moisture, etc.   I would estimate the value (including the framing) to be around $600-$700+.  I think you are safe to state this price as it is hand tinted and signed by an Anderson and is framed to conservation standards.
